Germany to Isle of Man School Trips
As of 1 August 2026, German School Trips of 5 or more students traveling directly to the Isle of Man from Germany will be able to complete the Germany to Isle of Man School Trip form when traveling directly from Germany to the Isle of Man.
Immigration fees increase from 1 August 2026
From 1 August 2026, some immigration fees will increase to realign with the fee structure in the United Kingdom. The increases are:
- FLR Start Up: from £625 to £666
- FLR Innovator: from £1590 to £1693
- SET Innovator: from £3029 to £3226
- Worker Migrant: from £885 to £943
- Worker Migrant 3 years plus: from £1751 to £1865
- Worker ICT Migrant: from £885 to £943
- Worker Migrant Health and Care: from £304 to £324
- Worker Migrant Health and Care 3 years plus: from £590 to £628
- SET W: from £3029 to £3226
- Student FLR: from £524 to £558
- FLR (M): from £1321 to £1407
- FLR (DEP): matches the main applicant’s price
- FLR (O): from £1321 to £1407
- SET (DV): from £3029 to £3226 (or free if destitute)
- SET (F): from £3029 to £3226
- SET (M): from £3029 to £3226
- SET (DEP): from £3029 to £3226
- SET(O): from £3029 to £3226
- Student Sponsor Licence: from £574 to £611

To extend your stay in the Isle of Man you must complete and submit the relevant application for leave to remain to the Isle of Man Immigration Office this must include the full appropriate fee.
If your visa has expired or will expire soon
Before you apply for an extension of your visa, you should ensure that you meet all the requirements in your immigration category. To find out about these requirements you should check the Immigration Rules and the requirements outlined in the application form relevant to your visa category. Please be aware that the requirements change from time to time so you should check the latest version of the Isle of Man Immigration Rules. Otherwise you may run the risk of being classed as an overstayer in the Isle of Man.
You must ensure that you comply with the terms of your visa, else your visa may be curtailed.
Your application must be made before your existing leave to remain in the Isle of Man expires otherwise you may be deemed an overstayer resulting in you having an adverse immigration history which could affect other applications you may make.
Before making your application, you should satisfy yourself that you meet the relevant requirements in your immigration category. These can be found in the Isle of Man Immigration Rules.
The Isle of Man Immigration Service cannot provide Immigration advice as to do so would compromise our position as regulators when assessing any application.

Completed forms, supporting documentation and the application fee should be submitted to the Isle of Man Immigration Office.
Note: If a dependent applies after a fee increase, they must pay the updated fee. Each application is treated separately, so the cost is based on when that specific application is paid and submitted-not when the main applicant applied.
