Go Gold/Disability Concession Card

Go Gold cards replace the disability concession passes for eligible residents under pensionable age and their carer where required. For customers entitled to a card please contact the Health and Social Team on (01624) 686325.

The new card entitles the bearer to:

•             Free travel on Isle of Man Transport Services* on Public Holidays, Bank Holidays and weekends

•             Half fare travel on Isle of Man Transport Services* before 9:00am on weekdays

•             Free travel on Isle of Man Transport Services* after 9:00am on weekdays

*Isle of Man Transport Services include Bus Vannin, Steam Railway, Electric Railway and Snaefell Mountain Railway.  Please note that this card does not entitle you to discounts or free travel on the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway.

Gold Card will be renewed for free every 3 years. Lost cards can be replaced for £10.  Please visit the Welcome Centre in Douglas Sea Terminal if you need to renew or replace your card.  You can also telephone the Welcome Centre on 662525 if you need any further information about your new card.

It is important to note when Gold customers reach a pensionable age, the Gold card will expire and will instead become eligible for a Silver concession card. Silver cards are obtained through the Welcome Centre.’
