Regular travellers and visitors can save money by purchasing a Go smart travel card.
They are convenient, secure and easy to use with no need to worry about finding loose change for your fare. Passengers pre-purchasing Go travel cards benefit from reduced fares and also enable bus services to run more efficiently.

Enable sightseers to travel on all our scheduled bus and rail services for 1, 3, 5 or 7 consecutive days. They are also valid for travel on the Douglas Horse Trams when operating.
Are available to provide unlimited bus or rail travel for one year. There is also a Go Platinum Reserve card that includes all bus and rail travel plus admission to all Manx National Heritage sites for one year.
Additionally, the Go Horse Tram card is available for the 2017 season.
Enable children and young people aged 19 or under, who are in full time education, to travel to IoM Government-run schools and college courses for 30p per journey. Children who receive free school meals are exempt from paying a fare on school buses. Those eligible are issued with a Go School travel card from the Department of Infrastructure.

Go Card Dog
We welcome guide and assistance dogs on our trains free of charge. There is a season card for non-assistance dogs at £5 per dog.

*Supervisors in charge at these locations are required to perform tasks concerned with the operation of buses and trains and it cannot be guaranteed that the office will be staffed at all times.
How to top up Go cards
Most Go cards are rechargeable and cannot be used unless they are topped up with pre-payment for multi-journey or period saver products.
They can be topped up online. You will need to register your card to make payment online and this gives you protection if your card is lost. Allow 24 hours for online top-ups to be available for collection on the bus.
Cards can also be topped up in person at main bus and rail stations, the Welcome Centre in Douglas Sea Terminal, the House of Manannan in Peel and the airport information desk. Cards can be used to travel immediately after top-ups are made on Island.
Please note, annual cards cannot be registered or topped up.
