Global Anti-Corruption
This page provides guidance on the UK’s sanction regime, as it has effect in the Island, relating to global anti-corruption.
The Global Anti-Corruption Sanctions Regulations 2021 have effect in the Isle of Man by the Sanctions (Implementation of UK Sanctions) Regulations 2024 ('the Regulations'), which are made under the Sanctions Act 2024. These Regulations impose financial sanctions for the purpose of preventing and combatting serious corruption from a country outside the Isle of Man.
Those persons who are designated under this regime are included on the UK sanctions list.
Types of sanctions applicable under this regime:
- Asset freeze
- Immigration
