At the July 2017 sitting of Tynwald, the Treasury Minister announced the launch of a public consultation concerning the proposed introduction of a new pension scheme to extend pension freedoms.
The consultation document set out the main features of a proposed new scheme, posed a number of questions and invited feedback and suggestions on the proposals.
The consultation generated a good level of public interest and Treasury would like to thank all respondents for taking the time to reply.
To complete the consultation exercise, Treasury has today issued the response document summarising the feedback received and setting out details of a revised pension scheme. The document also contains the full, anonymised, responses received to the consultation.
