This news release is issued in respect of the restrictive measures directed against Iraq.
Annexe III to Council Regulation (EC) 1210/2003 has been amended with effect from 18 January 2020, following the publication of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2020/37 (“the Amending Regulation”). The Amending Regulation reflects the decisions made on 2 January 2020 by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Committee to remove 15 entries from the UN Iraq list.
The entries detailed in the Annex to this Notice have been removed from the Consolidated List and are no longer subject to an asset freeze.
