On 15 December 2017, the European Union (North Korea Sanctions) (Amendment) (No. 7) Order 2017 [SD 2017/0363] came into operation, applying in Island law Council Regulation (EU) 2017/2062 of 13 November 2017.

The effect of the amendments was to replace the existing list of luxury goods subject to an import and export ban in Annex VIII of Regulation (EU) 2017/1509.
On 15 December 2017, the European Union (North Korea Sanctions) (Amendment) (No. 7) Regulations 2017 [SD 2017/0364], also came into operation. These regulations amended the definition of “EU Regulation” in the European Union (North Korea Sanctions) Regulations 2017 [SD 2017/0275].
