The Unoccupied Urban Sites Register for the East highlights urban sites that can be redeveloped and could contribute to housing or mixed use, such as for retail or commercial, in Douglas and Onchan.
The register will help to focus urban regeneration initiatives where it is most needed, and support further private sector investment in the surrounding areas.
Many of the unoccupied urban sites included within the register tie in with the allocations set out in the Area Plan for the East, and is intended to complement Isle of Man Government's commitments in respect of the Comprehensive Treatment Areas contained within the Area Plan for the East.
