In 2024 the Department for Enterprise announced the official move of the Isle of Man Welcome Centre from the Cabinet Office to the Visit Isle of Man Agency.

Opening hours From 8 June until further notice
Monday to Saturday: 8am to 5pm
Sunday opening hours from Sunday 14 June to Sunday 6 September (inc)
Sunday: 10am to 2pm

Located at the Sea Terminal on Douglas Promenade, the Isle of Man Government Welcome Centre is the Island’s multi-functional premier tourism and information centre.
The Welcome Centre’s dedicated staff can offer help and guidance on the Island's many attractions, places to visit and things to see and do.
In addition to tourism enquiries, you will also be able to:
- Book tickets for shows at the Gaiety Theatre and Villa Marina
- Buy travel tickets and travel cards for the bus service and heritage railways
- Get up-to-date travel and timetable information for the bus service and heritage railways. You also check the journey planner at Travel Line's website
- Obtain a variety of concession including Go Silver and Go Gold concession cards
- Obtain Proof of Age cards for those 18 and over
- Access Government Online Services if you need support to unlock your Government online account or reset your password
- Pay Government invoices
- Pay for school music lessons
- Obtain recreational fishing licences
- Get complimentary printed literature and information to take away with you
- Have the opportunity to purchase a selection of guidebooks and walking maps, as well as souvenirs and gifts, including locally produced Manx goods and TT Races memorabilia
- Develop digital skills, confidence and awareness to be able to use devices, browse the internet and embrace digital through our Digital Learning Sessions - appointment only
- Submit an application for type 2 mobility assessments and access on Bus Vannin buses
'Digital Learning' Sessions - appointment only
We are now running 'Digital Learning' Sessions at 10am to 11am, 11am to 12noon and 2pm to 3pm on the following dates:
- Wednesday 21 January
- Wednesday 18 February
- Wednesday 18 March
- Wednesday 22 April
- Wednesday 20 May
- Wednesday 17 June
