Friday 10 November, 2017 Church service and parade before the unveiling of a plaque Courts of Justice Like many areas of the Island, The Isle of Man Legal Profession was greatly affected by the First World War. On Friday 10th November, 2017 the Law Society have arranged for a Church service and parade before the unveiling of a plaque at the Courts of justice. This is to commemorate Legal Professionals who served in the First World War and those who gave their lives so we can have the life we have today.
The parade will take a route from St Georges Church, along Hill Street, up Bucks Road and into Deemsters Walk. It will only take a few minutes but during that time the roads will be closed, although if you are already parked on those streets you are welcome to remain. he parade will take a route from St Georges Church, along Hill Street, up Bucks Road and into Deemsters Walk. The parade will take place shortly after 2.15pm, the roads will close immediately before the parade and open immediately after it has passed.

November 2017 Honouring Soldier Advocates TBC There are plans for a plaque to be unveiled which honours the Manx advocates and students of law who served their country in the First World War.
