A chance to tell Government what you think about telecoms services

Tuesday, 4 July 2017

Members of the public and businesses have an opportunity to express their views on various aspects of the Island’s telecoms services through the 2017 Telecoms Survey launched today, Tuesday 4 July, 2017.

Commissioned by the Chief Minister’s Working Group on the National Telecoms Infrastructure for the Isle of Man, the survey seeks feedback on a range of telecoms products, such as residential and business mobile, broadband and landline services. The anonymized results will be used by Government to help assess its performance and gain a better insight into public opinion.

Announcing the research, Chairman of the Working Group, David Ashford MHK said:

‘I am keen to listen to a wide range of views. It is important that we gather evidence that can inform the development of policy and strategy from both a domestic consumer and a business perspective. As a digital Island, we need to remain competitive, and telecoms play an important role in creating opportunities for innovation and growth, using technology now and in the future.’

The 2017 Telecoms Survey can be completed online at www.gov.im/telecomssurvey and paper copies are also available from Government Office in Douglas, Ramsey Town Hall/Library, Castletown Civic Centre and Peel Town Hall. The deadline for submission is 14 July, 2017.
