Operation of The Curraghs Wildlife Park Cafe

The Curraghs Wildlife Park Cafe

Attracting approximately 49,500 visitors in 2018, The Curraghs Wildlife Park at Ballaugh is the Isle of Man’s only zoo. The Park also offers adventure playgrounds, a giant jumping pillow, mini diggers, a miniature railway and a café which overlooks the Flamingo Lake.

On behalf of The Curraghs Wildlife Park, the Department of Infrastructure is now inviting offers for the operation of the Café for 2020. The terms of the operation are set out in the Licence and interested parties should take particular note of the Café Covenants.

The Café will be equipped with furniture and equipment as detailed in the Inventory of the Licence, which is subject to confirmation.

Proposals should include:

  • Proposed Licence Fee in the region of £350 per month
  • Sample menus with prices
  • The number of staff to be employed
  • Previous catering experience
