2026 House of Keys General Election

2026 is election year in the Isle of Man, with voting taking place to elect 24 Members of the House of Keys. Polling in the General Election will take place between 8am and 8pm on Thursday 24 September 2026.

Registering to vote

Taking part in elections is a fundamental democratic right. But remember – you must first be registered to vote.

The electoral register is a list of all the people entitled to vote in elections in the Isle of Man. It includes your name, address and an electoral number that is unique to you.

The last opportunity to register to vote in the House of Keys General Election is Thursday 3 September 2026.

Who is eligible to register?

You are entitled to be on the electoral register if you have reached the age of 16, have had your usual place of abode in the Isle of Man for the preceding 12 months and are not subject to any legal incapacity to vote.
