Amputees
Assessment and ongoing rehabilitation for those patients who have undergone a limb amputation.
Patients undergoing vascular surgery, in particular limb amputation, will be seen by a physiotherapist on the ward and also as an outpatient on discharge. The therapist will work closely with the wheelchair and prosthetic limb provision agencies.
