Women's Health - Ward 4 and Maternity

This service offers individually tailored advice and exercise appropriate to the patients' needs.

The Women’s Health Urogynaecology Physiotherapy Service is for women with bladder or prolapse symptoms including perineal and bladder problems after childbirth. This service aims to provide a sensitive and supportive service for patients with these symptoms.

Patients requiring further support after leaving hospital may be referred to women's health and outpatient physiotherapy services.

Contact Information

Where possible, women will be seen by the womens health physiotherapy team on the gynaecology or maternity ward following complicated major surgery/perineal injury requiring pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Please note: the women's health physiotherapy service does not have full time cover and is not an emergency service.
