School Age
The Children's Therapy Service is for children who are school aged, attend school and who may require Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Speech and Language Therapy. Within this service your child will typically be seen in clinic to complete an assessment. Following their assessment a report will be compiled outlining the outcome of any assessments completed with recommendations. As required, any further appointments may be arranged within the school setting, depending on their needs.

The department can be located via the main entrance off Westmoreland Road, by following the Children's Therapy logos to our office.
How to access
The School Age Service can be accessed with a referral from a medical professional, allied health professional or an educational professional. Parents and Carers may also refer to School Age service for Speech and Language Therapy.
Suitable referrals are prioritised depending on need and are placed on a waiting list pending their allocation, so they will incur a waiting period.
