Hand therapy

Hands therapy is completed in an outpatient setting within physiotherapy at Noble's Hospital.

You may be seen by a physiotherapist or an occupational therapist who has had specialist training in this area.

Hands therapy can offer Rehabilitation to many conditions including traumas (fractures and soft tissue damage), elective; for conditions such as Dupuytren's contractures and following joint or plastic surgery (including tendon repairs and burns). Hand Therapy can also offer preventative therapy; alternatives to surgery or management of conditions such as arthritis and carpal tunnel through Home Exercise Programmes or Splinting.
