Quit4You provides practical advice, support and encouragement to anyone who wants to quit.
Specialist Stop Smoking Quit4You Advisors have supported several thousand smokers on the island in their quit attempts since it was launched in 2007.
Specialist Stop Smoking Quit4You Advisors have supported several thousand smokers on the island in their quit attempts during this time. The service has grown to five weekly clinics around the Island, and appointments at several GPs.
If you're thinking about quitting smoking, there are lots of options available, including new medications and different ways of quitting (including cut-down-to-quit). Your Quit4You Advisor will work with you to develop a personal quitting plan that is tailored to your needs.

Our Specialist Stop Smoking Advisors are on hand to help understand your smoking history and past quit attempts, explain medication options, and create a personal quitting plan to suit your lifestyle. We can assist with setting a quit date and preparing to quit. We can also help you identify new coping strategies and appreciate and identify with how you are finding quitting every step of the way.
Medication
If you would like to use Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), your Advisor will ask you some medical information. If NRT is suitable, they can provide you with a voucher or prescription, so you don't have to see your GP. The NRT is free - you’ll only have to pay a small 'prescription cost' unless you're exempt from these.
Quit4You can also provide information on other stop smoking medications (Champix and Zyban), but these can only be prescribed from your GP surgery.
