Sign-up for GP Patient Access and make appointments online

Wednesday, 6 September 2017

The Department of Health and Social Care is holding a three-week roadshow of public sign-up sessions for GP Patient Access, the free digital facility that allows people to make GP appointments and view their own health information online.

The sessions will take place in GP practices around the Island, and people can attend any session, not just the one at their own practice:

  • Monday 11 September: Southern Group Practice, Castletown Road, Port Erin 10am to midday
  • Tuesday 12 September: Peel Medical Centre, Albany Road, Peel 2pm to 4.30pm
  • Wednesday 13 September: Promenade Medical Centre, Level 2 Chester Street Car Park, Chester Street, Douglas 10am to midday
  • Thursday 14 September: Laxey Health Centre, New Road, Laxey 10am to midday
  • Friday 15 September: Ballasalla Medical Centre, Main Road, Ballasalla 10am to midday
  • Monday 18 September: Ramsey Group Practice, Bowring Road, Ramsey 10am to midday; Village Walk Health Centre, 1 The Village Walk, Onchan 2pm to 4pm.

  • Thursday 28 September: Hailwood Medical Centre, 2 Hailwood Court, Governors Hill, Douglas 10am to midday.

Anyone who wishes to sign up for Patient Access – part of the Government’s wider Digital Strategy – will need to be aged 16 or over and bring photographic identification (driving licence or passport) with them.

Signing-on is not restricted to the organised sessions as it is possible for people to do so at their own GP practice at any time.
