Fitness for Service Users

The Mental Health Service offers a variety of physical activities and sessions for service users. If a mental health professional (your nurse, care co-ordinator) believes you would benefit from taking part in physical group-based sessions, you may be referred to one of our local health and fitness sessions.

Please ensure your named nurse or Care Co-ordinator has referred you to the groups and you have completed a pre-exercise questionnaire or you will not be able to access these services.

Tuesday - Walk and Talk

A leisurely walking group based at various locations around Douglas. After our walk, we stop for a coffee and chat (we bring flasks in the Summer and go to a coffee shop in the winter months).
