Support for carers, family and friends

Carers of Mann are a group of carers based in the Isle of Man looking after adults experiencing mental health problems.

Keep on reading to find out more about these group sessions or visit the Carers of Mann website for more information about carer support.

What do we do?

  • We are an open group run by carers, family and friends whose loved ones have mental health requirements
  • We welcome new people and support each other
  • Share our problems and experiences
  • Invite outside professionals to come to talk to us to give us information and awareness on mental health matters
  • We are part of the Carers Development Meeting where we feedback experiences to help the Mental Health Service improve
  • We're not a charity but we get support from the Mental Health Service
