The Isle of Man Ambulance Service (IMAS) is responsible for all emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls across the Isle of Man.

At any given time the Service has 4 Ambulances on duty during the day and 3 at night.

Emergency Ambulances are crewed by a Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians or Emergency Care Assistant.

The Service is also supported by Senior Paramedic Officers that are based at Ambulance HQ.

There is always a Duty Officer available on a 24/7 basis.

Vehicles

The ability to provide an effective ambulance service is heavily dependent on having available a high quality ambulance fleet.

The current vehicles in our fleet are replaced on a rolling replacement programme which guarantees an up to date fleet of ambulance vehicles.

During TT and Festival of Motorsport periods the Ambulance Service operate their own dedicated Air Ambulance which is invaluable during road closures.
