About Registering a Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

The Isle of Man Community Defibrillator Scheme is operated and administered by the Isle of Man Ambulance Service in conjunction with partner organisations on the Isle of Man. This service allows you to register your AED and External cabinet online and provides information about Automated External Defibrillators (AED) and the Isle of Man Community Defibrillator Scheme.

Why Register your AED?

Sudden cardiac arrest can affect anyone of any age, anytime and anywhere and it is vital that there is rapid access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). By registering  your defibrillator the Ambulance Service will be able to locate the nearest AED to a person suffering a cardiac arrest and ultimately save lives.
