Where to find us
The Wound Management Clinic is located at the rear of the Hospital. Please see the map below.
It can be accessed by three different routes, these are:
- Dropping off Point – This is a drop off point only, no parking is available here. The WMC entrance is at the rear of the Hospital site adjacent to the Theatre entrance. This can be accessed from Grove Mount South (please see how to find us).
- Via the main car park where there are two reserved bays, then to the WMC (signposted) entrance as above. This route is all on the level.
- Via Main reception – There is parking here but a steep slope leading up to the main entrance.
From each entrance Patients are welcome to come straight to the Wound Management Clinic where there is a seating area for them to wait before their appointment.
Opening Hours
Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm including all bank holidays except Christmas day.
Requesting an appointment
All appointments at the Wound Management Clinic are arranged through referrals from General Practitioners, district and practice nurses, podiatrists, the Diabetic Clinic, minor injury patients from the MIU, and inpatients from Martin Ward. The Clinic currently has no waiting list.
Patients are asked to bring a list of all current medication they are taking. You should not attend your appointment if you are ill with any vomiting or diarrhoea, and instead phone to reschedule.
