When you arrive at RDCH for a Clinic appointment, please go to the main reception and check in with the receptionist. You will then be directed to where to wait for your appointment.

Opening Hours

Each clinic has its own time and date, for information please speak to the main reception.

Requesting a clinic appointment

The majority of clinics are appointment only, and only by referral from your GP, consultant or other medical staff. 

The Phlebotomy (Blood) Clinic and Quit 4 You (Stop Smoking Clinic), however, run a walk-in system. 

Preperation for an appointment

Please bring a list of any current medication you are taking to your appointment.  Depending on the Clinic, you may also be asked to provide a urine sample. 

If you cannot attend your Clinic appointment please contact the telephone number on your appointment letter. Our staff can then help you to make a new appointment. If you do not attend without notifying the hospital, it will be at the consultant's discretion as to whether you are simply given a new appointment or if you are to be discharged and will have to be referred by medical staff once again.

Please contact the main reception desk for information about clinic appointments. The reception is open between 9am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and 9am - 4.30pm on Friday.
