TIA Rapid Access Clinic

This runs three times a week to allow early assessment of people suspected of having a TIA. They are led by the consultant or associate specialist and involve:

• Neurological and clinical assessment
• Any investigations required (not always available same day)
• Life style advice and information
• Referral to appropriate services
• Treatment planning

Referral is via your GP, Emergency department or other medical healthcare provider.
Please ensure you bring an up to date medication list and a witness to the event if available.
