About us

The Practice is a partnership of 5 doctors, 2 nurses and administration staff with approximately 7500 patients.

We have a team of 11 receptionists who have a very demanding job. They take requests for appointments and home visits, they receive patients when they visit the Practice and they file and look after every individual medical record. They often have to make personal enquiries - please do not be offended, there is a strict code of confidentiality.

The Practice staff have the right to do their jobs without fear of verbal or physical abuse of any kind. This includes rudeness or unpleasant behaviour and 'not feeling well' is not acceptable as an excuse. If patients exhibit unacceptable behaviour they will receive a warning; if it continues they may be asked to register with another Practice.

Friends and Family Survey

Every time you visit your GP practice you are invited to take part in a short online survey. This is an anonymous survey and you are free to leave your comments about the practice in the space provided. The survey results are checked regularly and will be discussed with the GP Practice accordingly.
