Orthopaedic and Fracture
Outpatient area for all Orthopaedic referrals from GP’s and other area’s of Hospital for adult and Paediatric patients.
Orthopaedic Outpatient Clinic includes:
- Fracture clinic for patients referred from Emergency Department and Ramsey District Cottage Hospital
The Orthopaedic Outpatient Clinic comprises a suite of Consulting rooms where the 4 orthopaedic teams offer services including outpatient appointments and fracture clinic.
Opening times
Clinics by appointment only.
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Where to report
Currently clinics are predominantly provided at Ramsey District Cottage Hospital.
Please allow plenty of time for your appointment as you may require further x-rays while you are at clinic.
If attending fracture clinic you may also require removal and/or application of a plaster cast.
Access is via the Accident and Emergency Department entrance of Noble’s Hospital.
There is an appointment system in place.
Fracture/ Plaster Clinic
The Plaster Clinics are staffed by Orthopaedic Technicians who both qualified at Stanmore National Orthopaedic Hospital and attained the British Casting Certificate (BCG).
The service provides the application and removal of various types of casts, splints and braces.
The service covers the Island community which includes the following Departments:
- Accident & Emergency
- Outpatients
- Various wards within Noble's
They also liaise with the Orthopaedic Consultants, medical staff, Physiotherapists, Orthotics and Diabetic Podiatry Service for the application/removal of specialist casts.
