Get an appointment
You can refer yourself – you do not need to be referred by a doctor.
When you ring for an appointment you will be asked by the Receptionist if it is for a ‘routine check up’.
If you have no symptoms and you have not been advised to attend by any sexual partner/s then usually a ‘routine’ appointment for the next available slot will be fine. This can be a week or even two weeks later depending on how busy the clinic is.
If you are worried about some symptoms or wish to be seen sooner than the next routine appointment, then you will be put through to one of the nurses who will be able to make an assessment and then book you an appropriate appointment.
