URGENT INFORMATION

Lancaster University have become aware that some students' personal data has been stolen in a "sophisticated and malicious" phishing attack. It is not yet known whether this has impacted any Isle of Man students but this is possible and students who attend Lancaster University should follow the advice contained in the following link: https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/news/phishing-attack
The Isle of Man Student Awards team are not currently in the process of issuing invoices but you should expect to receive your usual loan statement in hardcopy form at the Isle of Man postal address registered against your account. 

2019/2020 Student Awards Online Applications

Student Award applications for 2019/20 will close on 31 July this year. If you haven’t made your application yet just click on the link below to start
If you have any issues/questions regarding your Loan Statement you should contact our colleagues at SAloanrepayments@gov.im 

Things to prepare before making your application:

Make sure you have your National Insurance number as you will need it to log on to the IOM Online Services. If you don’t have it or have forgotten it you should contact the Tax and National Insurance team. You can find contact details for the Tax and National Insurance team by following this link /categories/tax-vat-and-your-money/income-tax-and-national-insurance/ 
If you intend to apply for a Maintenance Grant you will need to have a Bank Account. If you do not have a Bank Account you should set one up now so that your Maintenance Grant can be paid on time to you. This Bank Account must be in your name. If Bank Account details are not supplied before you go to University/College then Maintenance Grant payments will be delayed.

Important note

Students from the Isle of Man are not eligible for a loan from the UK Student Loans Company
