Microgaming Education Bursary and Other Financial Assistance

Introduced in 2014, the Microgaming Education Bursary provides funding for exceptional students from the Isle of Man whose financial circumstances may otherwise stops them from attending or continuing at university.

The scheme is open to any student who is eligible for a maintenance grant and has secured a place on an approved undergraduate degree course (any subject). Students who received the bursary last year should submit a new application, giving details of how they have met the requirements agreed to in their previous application.

The Lady Monica Cockfield Memorial Trust 

The Trust is directed towards encouraging studies at postgraduate level in matters directly related to the European Union. Applications should be forwarded via the Department in writing to the Lady Monica Cockfield Memorial Trust and must include a copy of your CV.

Spencer Wright Bursary 

This fund is available to assist with the purchase of equipment or materials needed by students enrolled on an undergraduate drama/musical theatre training course.

The Howard Bequest

Administered through the Isle of Man Medical Research Committee.

This one-off Student Award is made as a single payment of £500 (Five Hundred Pounds) to Manx-Educated Students attending undergraduate degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy. It is awarded on confirmation of attendance at the University with copies of the confirmation offer and union or University library card.
