Student Awards Message Bulletin - October 2020

Students returning to the Isle of Man

The Isle of Man has moved from Level 5 to Level 4 in the Isle of Man Borders Framework.

This means that Isle of Man residents can register to enable non-essential return travel to the Isle of Man, if they are prepared to self-isolate for 14 days on their return.

Manx Students wishing to return must complete a travel registration form ahead of travelling back to the Island. See further details on the COVID-19 website

Students Travel & Returns Intentions Survey (Winter 2020)

All Manx Students studying off-Island who are supported through the Department have recently been emailed directly by the Student Awards Team with an invitation to take our online survey.

The survey seeks information about whether and when students intend to return to the island during the period leading up to Christmas. 

Students not supported through the Department may also participate in the survey – to receive a link to this survey please contact the Student Awards Team via the following email address:  StudentAwards@gov.im

All survey responses are submitted anonymously and the resulting data will feed into Government’s travel planning and Covid-19 testing capacity over this period.

The survey closes on 2 November and we would request that all off Island students participate in the survey to assist with the above planning.
