School buses are operated between schools and outlying areas by Bus Vannin.
See timetables below for each school area.
These are subject to alteration in bad weather or as a result of road works.
Stops can only be made upon request to the driver, at recognised bus stops. Please note there are some restrictions on stops on certain routes due to capacity issues.
Children up to 19 years of age travelling between their home and IoM Government-run schools and college courses can travel for 25p per journey with a pre-paid Go School smart travel card. Those travelling to school without a card or at other times will have to pay the standard fare. Older college students can obtain half fare on buses on production of their college ID card.
Children who receive free school meals are exempt from paying a fare on school buses and those eligible will be issued with a Go School travel card from the Department of Education and Children.
