Next Coaches Breakfast Club heads south to Colby

Martin BullockThe fourth Coaches Breakfast Club will complete its regional tour of the Island in the southern reaches of Colby later this month. 

Kicking off at 8am on Sunday 29 April, coaches can enjoy a free breakfast while guest coach Martin Bullock shares his experiences from motor sport, during his 30 years of managing his race team for the Manx Grand Prix (MGP). 

Martin launched his race team MB Racing back in 1987 and since then his team has amassed an impressive 34 MGP wins and 67 rostrum finishes.  

Martin will share his experiences around his strategies, planning and his psychological approach to getting the best out of his riders. 

Martin is a true sports fan with a passion for the Baggies (West Bromwich Albion FC). A former Island Games sprinter Martin won the 400m at the inaugural 1985 games and now also coaches a number of local athletes in sprints.

Trevor Christian, Sports Coaching Coordinator, said:

'I was really pleased when Martin approached me to talk at the next breakfast club. These sessions really are a great way to share experiences and ideas between coaches of any sport. We welcome all coaches to come along and enjoy the morning. It’s a friendly environment with like-minded people who are really passionate about developing their craft.'
