Day Centres for Older People

Day Centres for Older People are provided at five locations across the island. These are: Douglas, Peel, Ramsey, Onchan and Port St Mary.

These centres provide older members of the local community the chance to interact and engage in activities together, make new friends and learn new skills.
Transport to and from the centres for people living in the local area can be provided and each day session includes drinks, snacks and a hot meal at lunchtime. As well as having a positive impact on those attending it can help to alleviate Carer stress by providing carer with a well needed break.
