Importing Poultry & Captive Birds into the Isle of Man

There are currently no health certification requirements for the importation of domestic fowls or captive birds that are in free circulation in Great Britain.

However, please be aware of any restrictions due to Avian Influenza.

Please ensure that you comply with the Welfare of Animals in Transport regulations. If you are transporting poultry or captive birds on journeys longer than 65km and in connection with an economic activity, you must hold the relevant Transporter Authorisation for the transport of poultry. This includes road and sea transporters.

Imports from the European Union or Third Countries require health certification.
