Welfare reminder

Animals in need of immediate or urgent euthanasia are the responsibility of the registered keeper.

Euthanasia can be carried out by your veterinary surgeon or a competent person.

The welfare of the animal must be ensured at all times and all euthanasia must be completed humanely and efficiently.

Fallen stock

Livestock keepers are responsible for the safe and legal collection/ disposal of your fallen stock (dead livestock). You must not burn or bury fallen stock on your farm.

Please provide your holding number as well as the exact location, type of stock and number of carcase(s) when using this service. For cattle, please provide the tag number also. Accurate information will help with providing an efficient service.
