Records Held
Civil Registry hold records of registered events (Birth, Death, Marriage, Civil Partnership) that have occurred on the Isle of Man.
Registration of such events became compulsory on the Isle of Man in 1878, (1884 for marriages) although Civil Registry do hold some records prior to 1878.
Reviewing records would primarily be for Genealogy/Family History purposes but our records may not necessarily have the information desired. We have outlined below what information you will find from our records. You may obtain more information from the iMuseum or a Family History Researcher.
