The Civil Registry has revealed the most popular forenames given to baby girls and boys in 2022 were Lily and Noah respectively.
Noah, Theo (Theodore), Jack and Leo were the most popular names chosen for boys in 2022. Other popular names included Alfie, Archie, Edward and Benjamin.
In terms of baby girls, Lily (Lilly/Lillie) was the most popular name in 2022, with Emilia (Emelia/Emiliya), Olivia, Ella, Isabella and Isla falling closely behind.
