Welcome to the Isle of Man Government Unified Scheme! Here is where you can find some useful documents if you have recently joined the Unified Scheme.

Are you a new joiner?

If you are a new joiner, the New Joiners Factsheet will give you an overview of the Unified Scheme and help answer some initial questions.

Are you an existing or past member?

If you are an existing member of the Unified Scheme and are simply changing jobs within the Isle of Man Government or re-joining after a break in service, please read the Changing your job factsheet or see our page on Changing Jobs. 

This factsheet contains some important information about possible rights to remain in your Protected section of the Unified Scheme.

Are you thinking about opting out of joining the Unified Scheme?

If you do not want to be a member, you and your employer’s pay office need to complete the Opt out form. However, before opting out, make sure you understand the benefits available to you and your dependants and what you may be giving up.
