How to apply for an Injury Benefit

You can apply to be considered for injury benefits by completing the Public Sector Injury Benefits Scheme 2015 Application Form with your employer. 

There are Guidance notes to assist with the completion of the application form.

Please ensure that you answer all questions and supply the information requested. Failure to do so will mean your claim may be delayed or rejected.

The PSPA will endeavour to make a determination on each claim within 15-20 working days. 

Temporary Injury Allowance (TIA)  

Claims made on or after 1 April 2015 will be managed and awarded by employing authorities. If you wish to find out more about TIA and how to make a claim, then please speak to your line manager, contact the Office of Human Resources (OHR) or refer to their website at OHR Occupation Health.
