Isle of Man Government Conference 2022

IOMG conference banner

The inaugural Isle of Man Government Conference was held on the 20-21 September 2022.

The purpose of the two-day conference was to provide the Manx public with an open platform to engage with Government and political representatives on the big issues important to the future of our Island.

The event focussed on the Isle of Man's Draft Economic Strategy, in particular what is required to both support and ensure it is a success. This included presentations and panel Q&A's on climate change and future energy, housing and infrastructure, education and healthcare and opportunities for wider debate on the Economic Strategy itself.

All residents of the Isle of Man were invited to attend to find out more about how the Isle of Man Government will build a secure, vibrant and sustainable future for our Island.

Across both days there was an opportunity to:

  • Hear first-hand from a number of Ministers and Guest Speakers about progress and plans relating to topical subject matters
  • Join panel discussions and put questions directly to key decision makers.
  • Have a say on Government plans and policies to help to shape the future workings of Government; and
  • Meet and network with Political Representatives, Senior Government Officials and local business leaders in one location over two full days.

Watch all of the sessions and presentations.

The expenses associated with the delivery of this event will be published within 90 days of the end of the conference.
