Capital Project Unit
The Capital Projects Unit provides oversight and coordination of the Government’s capital programme. It aims to assist Government Departments in developing and monitoring their capital schemes to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, to quality and ultimately meeting the objectives of the Business Case.
It also seeks to ensure that a steady flow of capital projects are progressed to support the Island’s construction sector.
The Capital Projects Unit studies and evaluates all Government funded projects from initial concept until hand over to the end user to ensure that the funds are spent prudently and in compliance with the Procedure Notes for the Management of Construction Projects.
