Procurement Policy Review
The Treasury is reviewing the Procurement Policy approved by Tynwald in June 2017. This includes the impact of the policy on local suppliers, and evaluating whether the policy is successfully meeting the objectives of:
- Achieving best value for the Isle of Man from Government purchasing whilst ensuring Government's purchasing power is used to spend locally wherever possible
- Purchasing through fair and open competition
- Making selling to Government as simple and straightforward as possible
As part of this we have engaged with Government staff, local businesses and other organisations, and business representatives and networks and are now finalising the report.
Procurement Policy Review 2021 Consultation
The online consultation closed on 25 March, and the results from this together with staff and supplier workshops will be published on the consultation hub.
