Government Estates and Property

We manage, maintain and develop Government property and ensure the Government’s buildings are looked after. We carry out repairs, including emergency repairs and also carry out long term planned maintenance to ensure the Government has safe, clean, good quality buildings to operate its services from. 

The buildings we look after include:  

• Government offices
• Airport and Harbour passenger terminals
• Schools
• Hospital
• Courthouses
• Parliamentary buildings
• Depots
• Car parks

Our services include:

• cleaning and caretaking
• leases and lets
• repairs, improvements and planned maintenance

Our teams are based in Douglas and we employ skilled people, including property managers, mechanical and electrical engineers, caretakers, cleaners, joiners, electricians and plumbers. We also employ apprentices through the Government apprenticeship scheme.
