The Highway Design team is responsible for the design of all highway reconstruction and improvement projects using the latest design standards.
The Team is responsible for:
- 12 speed signs
- 14 variable message signs
- 47 pedestrian crossing installations
- Over 60 traffic signals
- 70 school signs
- Over 250 bollards
A number of Land Survey Projects using one-person robotic equipment including:
- Topographical
- River
- Quarry
- Railway
- Boundary and monitoring using Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS)
- 3D modelling and volumetric analysis
- Ordnance GNSS Datum (Douglas02) to facilitate overlaying on the Island Digital Mapping and Orthophotography
