Proposed Developments in UK Waters Which May Impact on Isle of Man

Within the area of the Irish Sea outside of Manx Territorial Waters there are a number of proposals for developments which potentially have an impact on the Isle of Man.

As a consequence the Isle of Man Government has been actively engaging in the following projects:

• Walney Extension Offshore Wind Farm off the Cumbrian Coast
• Rhiannon Wind Farm (Round 3 Irish Sea Zone) of the North Wales / Anglesey Coast
• First Flight Wind offshore wind farm in the waters off the Northern Ireland Coast
• ISLES project
