Communications Division
The Communications Division has responsibility within the Department of Home Affairs for all matters in respect of Government radio communications.
The Division exists to support the Department's aim of providing appropriate and effective communications infrastructure and the delivery of high quality services to the Emergency Services and the residents of the Isle of Man.
The core functions of the Service are to:
- Provide, manage and maintain the Government radio communications infrastructure
- Provide, manage, maintain and operate the Emergency Services Joint Control Room (ESJCR)
- Provide site sharing facilities for both the public and private sector at the radio sites which form the communications infrastructure.
