Independent Review Bodies

The Independent Review Body (IRB) has been replaced by the Health and Social Care Ombudsman Body (HSCOB).

The IRB was a panel of convenors and lay members, which investigated complaints about NHS services.

Although the IRB is no longer active, you can still read their reports from 2010/11 to 2020/2021 in the downloadable documents.
