Reciprocal Healthcare Arrangement 2023

The Reciprocal Healthcare Arrangement (RHA) between the Isle of Man and the UK has been updated, and extends the period of free health care.

Previously, Isle of Man residents in the UK who required medical treatment which could not wait until they returned to the Island at the end of their visit would receive it at no cost if the need for the treatment arose within three months of their arrival in the UK.

Manx residents will now be covered should the need for treatment arise within six months of arriving in the UK.

The RHA extends both ways, meaning visitors from the UK will also receive free medical care if the need for it arises within six months of arrival in the Island.
